How long will we be given between getting our cards and the first game?

Will your program be available before that happens or will I need to use another program to play?

My program will probably not be ready for round 1 but I am hoping it will be for round 2. So far I have all of the drawing/deck manipulation functions finished and most of the casting/hand manipulation ones. I still need to do the in play and graveyard stuff. The in play stuff includes tapping, attacking etc and so will probably be the most involved.

Take as long as you need to put the deck together. Id say about a day should be enough though.

Could you recomend a program for me to download that would let me handle my virtual deck?

Try apprentice - its available at http://www.magic-league.com

Other people seem to like Magic Workstation (MWS) as well.

I am having trouble getting the Ravnica cards to show up. It isn't even an option and even though I have opened the expansion, it apparently isn't doing anything.

First round pairings are up at the top of the thread.

You have the bye anyway Sac, so that should give you some time to build the deck and figure out a program.

Apprentice. I have unzipped the download.. and I can't figure what to do next to allow me to use Ravnica cards.

Open apprentice

File ---> deck editor

Then up the search filter in the top right of the deck editor thusly ---> http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/4382 ... ice4hz.png (sorry for the file size, but paint sucks.)

Click the green tick, and then it'll filter it to the ravnica block. Then you can click view card on each one of your pool to look at each one, put the deck together and save it when you're done.

I have downloaded the patch, unzipped it, and it isn't even giving me that expansion as an option in edit deck. I have even tried dragging the patch onto the main program and all that does is open the main program with no change. I don't know, maybe it's the fact that the damn expansion is in .dat format and apparently my computer just can't open whatever that format is.

Deck is ready, for better or worse.

For those using Magic Workstation, you can get the Rav cards by following the instructions at this link.
