true. my last few decks could not be played in a real game
at my wargaming club. we have one game of magic each year.
i missed tha last game, so i'm going to try and get involved this time.
its normaly a 8 or 10 sided multiplayer mass bundle.
where blue or black is connon. hence why my decks handle these colloure beter than otheres.
but at lest now i have more diverst coulres.

LOL. you build slowly and try and not get notice.
then when you have the cards you start to play them and let you power grow slowly.
on turn 7 to 10 some will try and steam roll, if leaft uncheacked this player will win. so every one will stop them. then a second will try and and then a third. its the third person that will win. but this is not always the case, as it some times is more of a lotery than any thing else.
luck and paitians is the way to win a game that big.
its a bit like playing chickin between two fragte trains.
you should try it. the deck should be slow and lumbering with planty of raw power & lots of tricks.

mwahaha, so you mean the horribly expensive and impractical dragon deck I built would work well?
I think the cheapest creature costs 4 mana, the most expensive wants 10...not easy to get rolling

actually, do you mind playing against the deck I used vs. Bairdsy just now? I made some changes to it and want to get it working. I plan on using this one in future tourneys in here if there are any, so obviously it needs to be strong

Relentless Assault
*has a few* While they would have been useless in this instance, I highly recommend them for swarm decks.

The swarm deck I built makes use of Overrun, and so far when I have gotten round to playing said card, the effect has been too devastating to bounce back from.
But the relentless assault card would be a very tasty addition to that
