Please use this thread (and only this thread) for bug reports related to the Purple Snails Online Legends Calculator. From time to time I will prune this thread, adding reported bugs to the list in this first post, and deleting posts that have been resolved or given a bug ID.

Current outstanding bugs:

Recently resolved bugs:
- Fixed an elemental specific issue with units in training that was causing the calculator to cumulate units in training multiple times as you updated calculations (so that by the 5th time you re-submitted the page after putting in a given elemental target, the calculator would be using 5x the actual number of units in training).
- Fixed an issue with Day/Night for Vampires.

it seems that the calculator keeps adding defense to the total if you click to update more than once. when i was done trying to figure out a nearly 5k defense target it said he had over 23k def. it was in automode.

It also wouldn't accept the ops as cut and paste.

Using main, or beta?

Can you PM me the cut & paste ops?

What browser/OS?

Looks like the mystical adding defense was an Elemental specific issue (with units in training) that is now resolved.

The issue with cut & paste ops not working was specific to beta (I'm working on some new functionality and broke existing functionality while I was working), and is now resolved.

Appears 21 times. . . I tried to change the realm #. It's also giving me the same error when I click update ops or click on a new kingdom

How repeatable is this? Is it occurring when you're using-using-using the calculator for a bunch of targets in a row, or when you go away for a bit and come back? What browser/OS? If FF/Chrome, do you have any special extensions like NoScript?

I'm getting the same error messages - it happens on SoMs, and it spams the error message with just one c/p. I'm in FF with no special extensions that I know of.

I'm using safari, the bug is very repeatable. I'm not sure if Robes is correct about the SoM (but since that's the first OP I use, I wouldn't be able to confirm or deny his theory).

What I know:
It calculates correctly 1 time, and then crashes when clicking on anything.

Just tested it more, it doesn't crash. The calculator still works, but must scroll past a wall of text first to see parts of the calculator part.

Just tested it again, and the first SoM worked fine, the second one bugged out.

EDIT

Also tried using another Op, a farsight, and it generated the error message spam as well when inputting it manually (after the initial input)

Interestingly if you paste multiple OPs all at once it functions normally (even if it is multiple kingdom info ops)

Yes, sorry i havent posted, but my experience (since last round at least) is that PS _only_ can be relied to work properly if i refresh the page and then paste all ops i want for one specific kingdom at once. Having multiple kingdoms or posting ops multiple times cannot be relied upon to work.

Dante, you have to click on the kingdom name to refresh the ops. It updated correctly then (but it only updated by manually clicking on the kingdom). Maybe we should have bug reported that.

Another small bug related to that. After updating a kingdom, the ops # will stay the same, but the ops used to calculate will go up. You have to update the realm to update the ops #.

Well, I wonder when I broke that.

Must have let my code base get out of sync. Probably copied something over from beta without making sure I didn't overwrite something useful.

Looks like I'm going to need someone to give me their API code and/or some ops to run this down... PM me or MSN/AIM me via the handles in my profile.
