Me and my girlfriend are new to the game and just recently started playing. Were playing from the same house using multiple systems 3ds ps3 and a computer. So my question is can we start a realm together or join the same realm or is that against the rules?

Hey doobie, It's not against the rules, and its actually really prefered that you stay in the same realm as otherwise you might be unintentionally sharing information between realms(which is against the rules).

You might want to notify Zip about your situation as it will look suspcious to the cheater detection.

Yes, send zip (here on the globals) a PM so admins are aware, other than that all is fine. Make sure to ask if you have any questions about the game while you're already here on the globals too, there are many things about this game that arent all that easy to figure out on your own.

Thanks I wanted to make sure to ask because other games we've tryed have had different rules on this issue. Since I already have this thread open i'll ask a few more questions I have on the game.

1-How do you figure out your max. army size?

2-How many people can be in a created realm v a random player realm?

3-Are rounds always the same length of time?

4-How you earn turns for your hero?

1 - There is no max. You have your total population (which can be seen under 'Managers'). Usually this population consists of Peasants, Workers and Military. Peasants and workers produce gold. Military, well, has offence and defence. So this means that the more military you have, the less peasants/workers you have and therefore less income. You'd have to find a balance between military and peasants/workers: in order to keep making enough gold/hr and in order to have enough military to grow.

2 - Created realm: 4
Random realm: 30

3 - Nope! The round length usually varies between 3 and 6 weeks. This round for example is 40 days (5.7 weeks). The round before this one was 28 days (4 weeks, if I remember correctly) and so on.

You earn 2 turns each hour, and can earn two times two turns extra from clicking ads on the ruler questing page every day. So a total of 52turns in 24hrs.

You gain no turns when the ruler is out attacking or is injured.

So if theres only a max population not a max army size about what percentage of workers/peasants would I need to run my buildings at 100%? Also are workers any better than peasants for collecting resources?

You came from the D game?

Anyway, all secondary resource buildings (all mines, sawmills, towers, farms etc. including gold mines) produce always the maximum amount (check the buildings page in the guide) of resources per tick. Each of these buildings also house additional population though, and to get the population producing gold, you need to get your population maxed. It'll happen automatically, but can be hastened with the fertility spell.

Workers produce 3.5 gold per hour and peasants 2.6 gold per hour (and slaves 3.2g/h), so yes, workers are a better long-term option for maximizing your economy/military output.

It is, however, adviseable that you keep at least 5 peasants per acre at all times, or even more if you think you're going to get hit often. It is to prevent overpopulation, which will kill your kingdom. To like, completely dead. It turns grey and stuff. Avoid that.

And to clarify, overpopulation isn't something you should be worried about constantly. You'll overpopulate only if you don't have enough space in your kingdom to house even a single peasant (=all the space is taken up by workers/military).

The simple answe to your question is, train as much mili as you can, and as long as you dont train specs (the cheap, low efficiency units, typically 3points of offence/defence) you will be fine.

It ofc matters a bit on if you need the military too. Typically people train the def they need, and then stockpile gold for a while (you can stock 36hrs raw income before you start getting additional corruption), and only training op when knowing it is possible to actually use it to make a hit,

Dominion.

Just a guess, since you're asking questions that would be fairly important in that game.

When you say the U game do you mean Utopia? I played a few ages of that but that was around 7 yrs ago. I tryed to play it again about 2 yrs ago but couldn't get back into it and I disliked some of the changes. This is very similiar to Utopia but I like certain parts of Elveron more.
