Suggestion:
Make CH 1%


MATH:
P=(Pop Bonus + 1)
H=Home%
M=Military per acre

CH: Reduces corruption by 1 * CourtHouse%.
Homes > CH
(.99)*(*P*20*(1 +(H+.01))-M) > P*20*(1+H)-M
(.99)*(20.2P + 20HP - M) > 20P + 20HP - M
19.998P + 19.8HP - .99M > 20P + 20HP - M
.01M - .002P > .2HP
.05M/P - .01 > H

Plugging in some numbers:
P= 1.25
M = 15 (around 70
H = ??

.05(15)/1.25 - .01 > H
.59 > H

In Words:
With 1% corruption, 15 military per acre and 25% housing bonus, 1% homes is better than 1% Court Houses if Home% is less than 59%. This does not take into account secondary resource production & building cost differences (CH are always better).

Note: This is only for the first % of corruption, the 2nd % would have to be recalculated with (.98/.99) replacing (.99) in the formula, the 3rd would use (.97/.98) This means CH become better when corruption rises higher.

CH: Reduces corruption by 2 * CourtHouse%.
Homes > CH
(.99)*(*P*20*(1 +(H+.005))-M) > P*20*(1+H)-M
(.99)*(20.1P + 20HP - M) > 20P + 20HP - M
19.899P + 19.8HP - .99M > 20P + 20HP - M
.01M - .101P > .2HP
.05M/P - .505 > H

Using same numbers as before
.05(15)/1.25 - .505 > H
0.095 >H

In Words:
With 1% corruption, 15 military per acre and 25% housing bonus, 0.5% homes is better than 0.5% Court Houses if Home% is less than 9.5%. This does not take into account secondary resource production & building cost differences (CH are always better).

IMO, CH are much more balanced at 1% than they are at 2%.

Problem is that alchemies and laboritories is much better than courthouses at 1% corruption reduction. Are you going to weaken policies as well?

If not then you will make improvements even more important with this change.

The Age of Miracles: Round 7
Court Houses were changed from CH% to 2*CH%
Policing imp max changed from 8% to 10%.

Essentially I would want to reverse that change.

Corruption adds a cool rubber band effect to the game. IMO, nerfing the rubber band effect should be done directly to the corruption formula, and not by overpowering CH.
