Ok curiosity has overwhelmed me, who won? It looks like it got exciting at the end. A realmie of mine claimed #14 had it in the bag after that un-retaled-semi-sui thing 5 days ago, but I told him it was too early to be saying stuff like that.

I was SCRUBBING BUBBLES in #13. Tollspry, as I knew from the start, was neigh-unplayably bad. But it's better to have it that way than introduce something new and overpowered. For what it's worth I think I have the top land Tollspry finish but that's hardly anything to brag about.

I thought maybe I could explore a bit but after I late-OOP'd for convenience I could never ever get rid of my specs. Too much econ penalty from constantly training 2/1s with no meaningful racial bonus to offset it. It was like playing a Shinobi with no conversions, except a little worse because it takes you 36 hours to train troops. I tried an early alch strat, I think it's "optimal" for the race design, but it barely even kept me ahead of the other Tollspries, so big whoop.

I've been waiting and waiting to see what the proposed changes are for them, I submitted some ideas weeks ago.


Anyway, tell me what happened in the actual game of Elveron while I was off in a cyclical-max-DP-training-simulator!

Good OOP and decent first push. After my first push I was second place and still 150 land behind. I ended up sacing 1 hour and then sacing the next because I was rushed and forgot I had done it . Lost 300 land exactly and was definitely finished after that. I felt even with the 300 land my kingdom was still lacking and was in no position to end well.

WTF finish. Everyone hits with 11 hours left? I am still trying to figure out who won.

Edit: Umm good luck to whoever is going for the win. Still too much up in the air to determine.

I made the biggest fail ever at OOP. First, almost all my hit were in kingdoms who were hitted 2 seconds before, so i won less lands for hit at OOP. Then, i bounced twice, i can explain why that, but noone care so i'll skip this part.

Basically i was -100 land in OOP compared to anyone, including the sylvans from my realm who used the same early strategy. After that, i hardly could keep enough DP against the animators, i only trained DP for days. So, i was so for behind that i made a bad push, since i didnt want to stay so far behind, so i pushed like 12hours+ after sylvans from my realm and i manage to make only one hit and a bad hit (40 land) so, it was cleary finish the game for me, so frustrating i was out that early. I converted to RIMP whore after that.

At late game, i could slowly recover from bad early game, and made a nice conversion to taverns, i could have make a nice hit to be close from 4k land, but it would be only for fun anyway, so i just slept.

About what Peluin told, i was the one who said r14 The Warner would win the game after a very good hit and noone attacked him back. I wasnt expecting the troll hitting him it was shocking for me.

If you are who I think you are, big haha. I'll say more when the round is over.

Let's just state it like it is:

It's fucking fishy that we lose our (very helpful) relic to a realm that has no shot at winning and no use for it 7 hours before round end. I guess some people have more friends than others.

If you want to start with suspicious activities this round, there will be no end.

Like, why is #11 trying to over-pop our XP when she's not anywhere near competing for XP lead, and when #11 is not going to compete for the win?

And who hacked her account and deleted her (which we assume happened)?

Why is #11 apparently maging lots of win contenders the last day when they cannot themselves win?

Who was the the "main" of the guy who got deleted for multying in #11?

And ad infinitum...

Well, if i hadnt been on a mobile i would have HCd my land in last tick. But it took me some 35 seconds to get through the buying dust and casting HC, and in those 35 secs Ceeks realm (i suppose) managed to land five FBs on me that caused me to fail. I had stolen enough dust to have a nice margin and could have HCd if just two FBs landed in time, and i had hoped it would be enough but it wasnt.

I've been in a car all day just trying to log in through my phone, but i suppose i wouldnt have reached enough land even with HC to win, and that is what Ceek is referring to?
I would have ended 4415 land and thought it would be enough. If not i am terribly sorry for stealing a win from barca who very much deserves to finally get a win.

Also: Dunno exactly what the standing is now. But if #15 (just one kingdom tho) hadnt bopped me a ton a couple hrs ago i had enough to HC that tick too. Are #15 winning now? In that case #14 helped #15 to win? If not then #15 helped #14 to win? Either way, doesnt make sense to me really.

What I did not understand was why in the world #15 Troll hit me when he or anyone in his realm had no chance to win?

By hitting me, he took the win from both me and you and gave it to #14 Animator. (And kinda funny he lied on PM and said he did it to ensure that his Elemental would win--this person sounds quite familiar, like the same rank-whore who suicided B to rank-whore the round Amuril's Shinobi won?)

It seemed like either a deliberate attempt to screw someone or despicable rank-whoring.

Edit: Also, yeah, what the fuck with Applet getting deleted? (She was our XP). It happened exactly when the server was down for 15 minutes or so. Zip said someone from a different IP address came in and deleted her. Pretty hard to believe this was a glitch.

Edit 2: So, yes, Dante. It looks like #15 screwed both of our realms when they had no chance to win. The only beneficiary was #14. Hmmm.

Well, i have a lot of faith in the capacity of Ceek & co (who i presume are #14) to keep track of things, so it is very possible they noticed someone else had already done the job for them and thus didnt need to do it themselves that tick. But that is hard to know for sure, and who knows, maybe if #15 hadnt gone for me then #14 could have had incredible bad luck with bops or lost their connection or whatever.

All we know for sure is that #15 robbed me of the possibility to try a HC at 19.00. And if they werent winning then they did it for very little apparent reason. It is a bit annoying. Though i really only have myself to blame anyway since if i had convinced my wife to pull over some where and get a good internet connection i would have succeeded with the HC last tick anyway. She actually offered to do so as well, but i declined.

Either way. Enough whining from me. Was a pretty good round all and all. Lots of surprising stuff happening. Plenty times people were more aggressive than i expected them to be. And even more times people were incredibly non-aggressive too. Kher held top op a lot but never got war and didnt hit big. #16 never hit #10 troll when they could have. I survived a few times when i could have been hit. All in all pretty hard to predict stuff, which is fun.

Thanks to my realm for strong support the last few days, though we could have pulled a better team effort throughout the round. Really sorry for Valgard getting suid by #10 too, he would have been in a great position otherwise. Great play by Adam who kept close to the top through almost the whole round in spite of being a very new player. And thx for all the help when i've been busy db.

Also very nicely played by #10 over all, #14 over all, #16 vamps (though you REALLY should have hit the troll in #10, and even more REALLY should have suiretalled the now winning animator), and to #15 ele who played a really strong round with both great play and aggressive moves.
To kehr i guess i just have to suppose you lacked the realm to get wars and stuff, get in a good realm and you will win a round. You certainly should have won this round if you had some good support.
