In his last Budget as chancellor in 2007, Gordon Brown said: “We will never return to the old boom and bust.”

Strategy is barely used, so i dont see much need of it tbh. But maybe for searchability or so, lets see if silencio has any ideas.

An "Archived Announcements" sub-forum in announcements. Move all old announcements to this forum (instead of deleting them). This sub-forum should not show on the main page.

Consider making Strategy a sub-forum of Game Talk & Questions


As for mod powers & cleaning. I would like to see: More moving of topics (into the correct forum). More splitting of threads (A couple of tangents in a thread are fine. It becomes a problem when the tangent becomes a conversation of it's own)

I will start trying to keep things more on tpåic fergie (moving/splitting threads).

Ok I have a disagreement with Dante cause I think these threads should be moved to other boards so game talk and questions are cleaned.

Does anyone have a problem with round suggestion threads being moved to suggestions?

For example these are 3 month or older suggestion threads in the game talk and messageboards area:

What about moving threads to strategy board?

also, the creation of the pack thread, dante, was much needed. good job on that, for sure.

the only thing, to piggy back on top of the pack sub thread, that i would suggest is to go through all the pages and delete all the requests for packs or inqueries about packs from previous rounds. this is a lot of work but to do just a few each time the mods log in would cut down about 30 of those 100 pages of clutter in the questions section and it could be done within months with minimal effort.

great job with the spring cleaning, though!! it only makes the game better and makes it more likely that newer players will stay because they will find the forums to be "newbie friendly". (i am the most recent new player to be intimidated by the forums)

I am moving some threads to the pack section (mostly, some to other sections as well, and some deleted) every now and then.

I still fail to see the importance of it, if you wanna find some answers to questions you should seach using the search function, not randomly reading 5 year old pack threads hoping to find something interesting. This forum have never been meant to be used in a "read everything in it" way. But whenever i have some spare time i do a little of it anyway, just for the heck of it.
