I have thought of how to help new players in 2 ways.

1. When someone registers, the first thing that pops-up after logging is the New Player Help. A small explanation of how the game is played, what to do, what are some things called and etc.

2. Easier way is for you to add Quests, that people get bonuses from. They will for sure do them, learn and take bonuses. Ofcourse we get the same thing. It is hard for players to understand this game how it is, and those that get hooked by its hard to play style at first sight, stay and play. And those that dont, leave because they dont understand anything.

Good suggestions deivis. Your 2nd suggestion has been brought up before, some sort of a tutorial to follow that would give some rewards. I dont remember what happened with it however.

What i meant about Quests was:

1st Quest:

Welcome to Elveron, a short story about gameplay.

Click ' Finish' to finish the quest. (that should be at the bottom)
Reward: 200 diamonds

2nd Quest:
Now you have some diamonds, you can go to Improvements and invest to improve your kingdom, and etc.

(after he does it, the Finish buttons become available to click)

Reward: 1x Pointy Dagger

3rd Quest:

Equip the Item

Reward: 10k gold



And bounce through quests like that

Like a tutorial helping you through the initial/basic steps of playing elveron.

Someone should make a website to explain everything in detail (wikipedia is cool cause everyone can ad ideas). And then the game could have some big text that says if your new read the guide and after reading the guide visit this website for complicated explanations. Or you could just have a link to the advanced game description on every page of the guide.
