Now if we're talking about the existence of a "intelligent creator", that possibility I too dismiss almost completely. And I like to call myself an atheist in front of religious people, to tick them off and to avoid the annoying thing about agnosticism; people seem to think that agnostics can be turned to follow their religion more easily than anyone else.

Would be like us executing Charles Manson on a cross. A3 - Bible says jesus's blood was flowing out of him after "death" and they took him away. Blood does not flow out of dead bodies, there is no pulse. 2 - Moses, Joseph, and king David all commited genocide with no moral cause, but some real profitable ones. A1 - Moses killed the medites (forget the correct spelling) that helped him escape eqypt, because some Hebrews started to worship there gods. That seems more like a political move to maintain power, then the choose your believe and be judged by it attitude they had before. A2 - Moses commited genocide against 2 different types of Cannan cultures, cause that was his promised land not there's. A3 - Moses dies before seeing the promised land, cause he hit a rock in frustration due to his lack of belief god would make it pour water out. Pretty steep punishment there, but when you look at how he lead the battles before just standing on a hill raising or lowering his staff while the head of the leivites (the religious nut tribe of hebrews under Joseph) fought hard and gathered more support. Seems like someone may not have died of such "god like" causes after all. Once Joseph gets power he starts conquering all of cannan since god said to do so. A 4 - Joseph was the genocide master, enough said. A5 - King david banged one of his mens wives, recalled him home to try and get him to bang his wife to cover it up. However due to one of the Hewbrews laws a man cannot eat a home cooked meal, or sleep with his wife while his men are fighting, the man refused to go enjoy those things even with davids consent. So Since that plan didn't work out he sent him off on a suicide mission then married his wife after he was out of the picture.... God's most beloved child ehh? if so, and if god exists and I go to heaven, if I see that bastard there I am marching strait to hell to have a beer with Lucifer. There is a lot more but my hands are starting to hurt... I enjoy causing religious nut jobs to question there religions... So being agnostic is fun for me

The romans did in fact crucify people - on crosses of various shapes, including the latin cross - for about a thousand years (600 bc - 400 ad...ish) and it was considered the most discraceful way to die, reserved only for slaves, pirates and enemies to the state. The cross was at this point not holy to the romans at all.

Blood flows with gravity, if you are hanging on a cross with a nail through your feet I think you would bleed even after death. I havent read the bible recently but was it after he was taken off the cross?

People are fucking stupid, If Derren Brown or David blane travelled back in time and did all the crazy stuff they do then everyone would think it was magic too, but as they would tell you its not... I don't see everyone getting on their knees and worshipping the 2nd coming.

SAVE THE DATE, BITCHES! The (new) date of the rapture has been uncovered in Biblical Phrophecy! On 21 May 2011, JESUS RETURNS! Will he be riding his favorite pet T-Rex? Will Mary, full-bodily, return to Earth with him? Am I going straight to the fires of eternal damnation? Tune in to see! Full details on the RAPTURE date can be found here.
