Has anyone heard anything about this phone? I have a full upgrade coming up in like 4 days, and i've heard a wide array of opinions on this phone.

Does anyone have it/know someone with it, and if so, is it any good?

Friends of mine have it. Its just good, can do alot of stuff with it etc etc (yeah, thats a clear explanation)

I just got myself the HTC Legend, which is smaller, but almost the same ad the HD2. The reason why I bought the Legend, was because of the Android operating system.

- The firmware/system upgrades itself (you only have to click 'Yes, start upgrade') every few weeks (Have had it for 2 months now, 2 updrades), while Windows Mobile updates once in 1-2 years? Thats why I heard/read on the internet.
- You can download free (but also paid (1-5 $)) applications from the Android Market.
- I also think (I am not sure) that Android is open source (or something like that) which means that users can create their own apps.

Android seems to be the way to go

if you want to get a droid-like phone, the droid is really the only way to go. HTC puts out crap hardware where motorola is way higher quality. ive dropped my droid prolly 80+ times, a few of which were off my lofted bed at school w/o it causing reduced performance. that and the droid is awesome but it depends what service youre on as well, since the droid is verizon only.

I've watched a few reviews on it, and read a couple too.
Most say its a really good phone, except for Windows that it runs on. It freezes and crashed just like a regular computer.

Seeing I have T-mobile and they SUCK, there isnt really any options besides a my-touch, which I hate because my family has them, and a couple blackberrys.

My family uses them also, I just have my own plan, thats all.

If it has windows mobile its going to be a POS I've got it on my current HTC Pro and it sucks balls, get something with the google operating system.
