Race: Oriental Dragon Alignment: Good Main Overview: The power of darkness is getting strong in elveron, to withstand the strength of evil, few prophets worked together to summon seven types of Dragons from East: Jiaolong - the Scaled Dragon, Dilong - the Earth Dragon, Yinglong – the Winged Dragon, Shenlong – the Spiritual Dragon, Fucanglong – the Dragon of Hidden Treasures, Tianlong – the Celestial Dragon and Pan – the Lake Dragon come to elveron. These Dragons are made up of nine entities. The head of camel, the eyes of a demon, the ears of a cow, the horns of a stag, the neck of a snake, their belly a clam’s, their claws that of an eagle, while the soles of their feet are that tiger, and 117 scales that cover it’s body are that of a carp. They show spiritual power. They can fly without wing. They can shape-shifting. They can summon Tornado. Spells: -Tornado (Offensive, Instant): Randomly destroy 1% of enemy’s buildings. (MD cost 12x Landsize)-Rainfall (Self): Increases diamond production by 5%, while decreasing gold production by 10%. (MD cost 1x Landsize)Building Differences: -Dragon Enclave (Guild Quarter): Mountain. Reduces price on mages, spies, workers with 2.5 * Guild% to max 50%. Rate of price reduction is slowed down for units worth less than 1 spy or mage. Increases trainable workers per hour with 10 * Guild%. Increases diamond production by 3*Dragon Enclave %-Gold Mine: Oriental Dragon cannot build Gold Mine. -Iron Mine: Oriental Dragon cannot build Iron Mine. -Home: Oriental Dragon cannot build Home. -Crystal Palace (Court House): Swamp -Dragon Lake (farm): Swamp -Tavern: Highland Lastest Change Log-Casualties of Jiaolong change from 400 to 300. -Dragon Enclave (Guild Quarter): Increases diamond production by 3*Dragon Enclave % -Dilong 400g, 15dm -Shenlong 345dm -Fucanglongs produce 10 diamonds per hour Note: Corruption after stock for more than 36*raw diamond production. 1 diamond equals to 6 golds.

How would you know how much the Yinglongs are worth for op/dp? The problem with raising the op/dp per ruler her attack is that there is no way that I know to register it (without doing an SoHP and manually calc'ing it). This is not to say I am opposed to it, just that I think it would be very unpopular aspect, esp for randoms/newbs. Plus, no one really wants to take more ops.

For me this round: Successful Attacks: 78 And I would consider myself a pretty inactive experience player. I missed at least 10-15 attack cycles. This has to have a cap, or would have to be priced to accommodate its possible maximum some point in the round. Very cool concept though! Outside of it being diamond dependent and the Yinglongs, I see a lot of repeating race features. Funcanglongs are from Zorbs, Rainfall immediately makes me think of Leshkin spell. Guild Quarters and Homes seem to be the most obvious route with them for land play. Meh, although increasing the Yinglong would be fun... Choosing to increase diamond production and Fucandlongs seems to be the much stronger route though. Overall thought - Overpowered.

Race cannot build homes. Apart from the 6.5 unit the race is very nicely made.
Playing this race has many varying strategies that are different from classical races. Much better thought out than leshkins. The race spell is not copied from leshkin but much more suitable for this race. It is dwarf with a major twist. The concept of individual unit should not be unique but the strategy that comes with the race is. Lots of optimization trade offs in this race.
My thoughts: 1. Try to find better names, more epic, less oriental 2. Scratch defensive bonus on the varying unit 3. The varying unit is way too powerful. 30 attacks (11 days with FT) and you get an 9.5 unit for the equivalent of about 1700g.

yep - pretty cool race. I do not like the mechanic connecting the variant unit with the # attacks though - for the reasons given already.
I think the 10/10 unit is overpowered as well at its current cost - but those are balancing issues.... not really a critique. (it would need to cost at least 500 Diamonds, probably more as it is it's best standalone elite AND it's flex unit)
EDIT - additionally the worker unit is far underpowered - would need to make .88 diamonds per hour to match a non-imped worker's efficiency. Considering the extreme cost for the worker, as well as the loss of banking imps, I think .9 diamonds per hour would be a fair amount.
EDIT #2 - bah - sorry for the price analysis fail - I was for some reason thinking 15 diamonds from one mine and that threw all my numbers off.

I'm sorry, I didn't see that they could not build homes (major fail as I tried to really look at everything). In that case, I agree with wilan on everything but comparing them to Leshkins.
The yinglong unit is really awesome. It really does bring something completely new to elveron.

Was more that I didn't see any reason to give you an extra thing to add to the calc. But also I don't want to take an SoHP to get a targets defense. Esp since they are 4% ss. That gets damn expensive.

A real stupid question: How much is a Diamond worth in gold terms?
I ask because I am trying to compare the race I created with Frostzorbs: They share some similar stats, but I have a hard time grasping how much such Diamond-heavy units are worth in gold-terms. Also, how much is an Iron Ore worth in gold terms while we are at it?
