~ FERGY'S RULESET ~

This game is forum adaptation of the spoken game Mafia. As such, a few changes must be made.

Rule 1: Read the rules that I posted in the above link twice!

Rule 2: Do not repost anything I PM you in this game.

Rule 3: Do not reveal your role before first day!

Rule 4: Do not play the newb strat, i.e. acting like you do not understand the rules because you are new. If you truly don't understand the rules, read them again then PM/msn/mirc me or another helpful person. (Don't do it in this thread)

Game Mechanics

Mafia: in between 1:3 & 1:5 (mafia:citizens)
Mafia Families: 1-2
Super Citizens: 1-2
SS Roles: Cops & Angels (not necessarily even, could be 2 angels, 2 cops, etc.
Voting: Open plurality voting system. If there is a tie, a new round of voting will start with only the members that tied
Voting time limit: 23-36 hours, ties: 11-24 hrs (Time limit will depend on when I can log on next. It will be at least 23 hours and I will try to keep it below 36.)
Mafia voting: Higher card, is worth more. This is to avoid ties
Role Assignments: Semi-Random (I will use a partial deck of cards to assign roles. If I think that it wasn't distributed fairly, I will switch up to three roles)
Order of Night: Angel Protects > Mafia Kills > Cop Investigates (If using two mafia cells, they both kill simultaneously.)

Additional Notes on Voting:
- You may vote either lynch abc or no lynch.
- When voting, you must say "I vote to lynch Scorps" or "I vote no lynch"
- Votes must be bolded.
- You can change your vote as many times as you want within reason (don't be a jack-ass about it)
- DO NOT EDIT YOUR VOTE!, make a new post instead (unless your post is currently the last one in the thread)
- If you change your vote, make sure you say "I change my vote to . . ."



Addional Notes:
Days last about 24-36 hours.
Night last 12-24 hours or untill everybody send in their votes.
I'll not give an exact time on when the day will end, same like legends has, this to prevent end-of-day suicide... euh mass switch voting

I will allow pm's. Chat whatever you like, though only with living people. Dead people should NEVER give out any information. That ofcourse is pretty obvious. Giving out your "card" is pretty lame, since it can be abused too. Think of everything, do not trust anybody

PLUS I will be extra strict on in-active players. If you aren't talking / posting in 2 (mafia)days, you will get kicked out by me. MAFIA OR NOT

How can you host a mafia game when only signing on once a month?

(I was forced to play another round so we are brinign this game back!)
