Depends =P

If its a long round, you might want to destroy them after a week. If its a mid-range round, you will want to destroy them after about 5 days. You destroy them through the construct page, there will be a 'destroy buildings' link in the text.

You want to maximize your Acad% while keeping a suitable FT% (according to your schedule). Some players like to run a few homes for extra population.. Personally, I like to run a few more Acads > Homes.

just wondering what everyone thinks about flameweavers be xpers? sure their big units do cost diamons and iron, but there is the phoenixs regenerative abilities, which to me means they don't really have to focus too much on offensive casualties

they don't have to worry about the offensive casualties, but those that die take longer to get back and therefore don't come back with your heroes when you need them to attack. to keep a constant hitting schedule you would need to mass enough offense to be able to keep hitting while those troops were still returning. Since the phoenix is so expensive it makes this difficult. I have never tried, so i don't know that it is impossible.

For an xper it should be more important with efficient def than off in the long run too. When the heroes start getting strong very little off is needed to hit.

Weavers are no different from any other race to play XP. The undying offense is a TRICK. And it can vary on how you play, but you want a race with cheap defense, efficiency is a plus for sure. You also want quick offense, and preferably that with turtle. With weavers, how are you ever going to hit for 100%. Once you are hero attacking, your heroes are undying offense that GROWS anyway. I say Terranoid, Shinobi, and Vampire FTW.

In my opinion, the races ranking that can let xper have some impact in xp round NOW are as below:

1st Plaguebearer ( 3 - 4 week rank 1, in other words, short round xp race)
2nd Human (4 - 6 week rank 1, in other words, middle until long round xp race)
3rd Goblin
4th Shinobi

for Other races, not suitable to be xper.

Dwarf - Blacksmith + Iron Mine, xp fail
Sylvan - rezone cost heavy (land distribution is special from other xp races), xp fail
Elemental - dp cost too high, xp fail
Gryphon - Merchant Guild + high dp cost = xp fail
undead - High dp cost + less efficient = xp fail
Dark dwarf - slavepit + spa = xp fail
ilith - high dp cost, xp fail
flameweaver - high dp cost, xp fail too

I would think nearly all races are playable for XP,the trick to playing them is to exploit the advantages of the race you pick and play that race in a manner which is suitable for the round length.
