5% is too much, I think we should tie it to size difference between the two kingdoms.

If you get bottomfed you lose 5% of your dp and 5% of your land, so you are still a good target and can get hit again. Could be a really bad negative spiral.

If someone bottomfeeds on me I should only get 5*0.67=3.35% casualties.

And I do not think that if I topfeed that kingdom should lose 7.5% of his dp, keep it at 5% maximum.

If not tied to size difference, at least decrease casualties with 20% down to a base rate of 4%.

i agree 100%

it is newbfriendly too (for players that are relatively new but still can do well, but they have no way of fending off top players). This way they can still manage to do well enough after getting hit...

So would that mean that any land player who got hit by an xp player would have even more reason to whine and complain because relatively speaking they would have lost more casualties compared to being bottomfeed on. Wow, I can't wait to read those bitchfest. Don't we all love those?

The only suggestion I have would be having the xp player cause less casualties based on how much more experience he has compared to the land player.

Noobs getting hit by exp players are probably not good enough to notice the difference.

Whether it's a fact or not is irrelevant. We need newbies to play this game. Fact.

The best way to do that is to make it so they don't get entirely destroyed by Xpers.

Newbies will always get beat on by XPers unless they actually start hitting each other more frequently. I really don't understand the point of SacTzar's post anyway. What Kalle suggested is completely reasonable and imo if a land player is getting hit by an XPer they are doing something wrong by not having enough DP in the first place. Also, tieing (spelling? that just looks weird for some reason >.<) anything directly to XP (like casualties) is just a bad idea imo for obvious reasons.

The point is it doesn't mater that the land playing noob didn't have enough defense... it doesn't mater even if the xp player actually has more defense than the land playing noob. The xp player is an evil bad guy for even hitting him ever and the fact that the land playing noob gets relatively more casualties compared to getting bottomfeed on will be yet another reason why people will whine/bitch/complain about them.

People will always have something to whine/bitch/complain about. Just because that's the case doesn't make it a bad suggestion. Nothing will change for them except other people will have fewer casualties for not staying in the XPers range of land.

They'd still be losing no more casualties than under the current system. They'd have nothing to whine about.

The post above is gold.

However unfortunately relatively plays an important role. If every race gets a +2% plat bonus, and humans only get a +1%, that's not very good.

Change is FTW!!!

Okey, lets not tie it to size difference then. Decrease it with 1/5 then down to 4% base.
