Taken into consideration
I'm not sure about changing the 10 specs, I'll think about it

Bulg, do you realize your suggestions would make them completely hopless? I agree about the unit prices, but I think the stats are good as is. But the spire unit needs to exist, otherwise they'd have no hope. On the homes suggestion, that'd be a little harsh to have no mages and no homes, maybe say they can have homes, but not more than, maybe, 20% of the total buildings.

yeah but the difference is that simon thinks he's actually right. ash spammed and wasn't the brightest, but he knew that. its not quite the same with simon. and on that topic, more spires is EXACTLY what this game needs. *eye roll smiley*

With Bulg's suggestions and wolf's current opinion, they'd had no mages, no spies, no homes, and more expensive units. Can you see why that wouldn't be good? And most people thought the spire unit idea was good.

The Engineer part is pretty much the theme of this race
Data doesn't necessarily need to be futuristic at all - spy ops are data
As for Genetic Engineer, there are Alchemists and Battle Mages in this game, so I thought there could be a race that forsakes magic for science

Make them Gnomes. If you use that theme, then you could have them forsake magic in favor of "science". Even then I suggest you stick with terms like "Alchemical" instead of "Genetic" since the second is such a modern concept.

Hm, well the other plot theme of this race is that they create their units artificially
I don't know if gnomes don't that or not, although I could probably word the units so that it worked

riiiiight. look back at the first page again, 2 people agreed with it. one was we are wolf who came up with the race and the other is homer, neither are that experienced. while i think homer's actually pretty awesome, he still needs more experience and the same is probably true for we are wolf. so no, its not a very smart idea. yes i can see how the mage thing is a problem, but can you not see how having a race run spire units without a drawback on the economy is a problem? even if the units were made to be more expensive, do you really want it to be a bigger pain in the butt to spy on kingdoms? its commonly known that spires are just newb traps and are just unnecessarily annoying.

Micro, look at it this way. They can't have mages, but you can't really work much magic against them either. Might not work, just thought I'd throw the idea out there. And they might be able to function without homes, just thout it'd be a little harsh.

I like your idea but it seems like you have put many things that seem negative, but it looks playable. I don't think very many noobs could play this race. The spire ability makes this race pretty good. It seems balanced but I am not the best critic.
I don't know how to code can someone send me information on that?

yes, but what your forgetting is that spires also effect spy ops and spy power. so while the whole mage thing is good and all, nobody's going to be able to spy on them either, and then we're all gonna get pissy and it just won't be a good situation.

Wolf was gonna take out the spy. Or that's what it sounded like.
