Race: Gremlins
Alignment: Evil

Main Overview:
Disloyal and distrustful, gremlins inhabit the dark, damp areas of Elveron that others are unable or unwilling to survive in. Awkward and deformed in appearance, and covered with misshapen armour scraps stolen from ancient enemies, gremlins actually tend to be surprisingly nimble and skilled warriors. Previously in living in what can only be described as small tribal units, unable to unite due to their aggressive and disobedient nature, the gremlins have recently merged into larger banding that pose a far greater threat than they once did to mere lone passers-by. Now as they gather in the gloom, strengthening their forces and focusing their power, Elveron lies unsuspecting of the new evil power that will soon be unleashed upon it...

Bonuses and Penalties:
-5% land gains
5% of the enemy's resources are raided on every successful non-bottomfeeding attack
1% of the enemy's peasants are kidnapped on every successful non-bottomfeeding attack

Military:
Code:
Name               Att.  Def.  Ret  Trn  Cas  Mages  Spies  Price
Bandit               4     1    12    9  100%               450g
Renegade                   4          9  100%               500g
Enraged Looter       8     3    10   12  100%               1350g,75r
Rusted Scavenger     6     6    12   12  100%               1175g,450r
Tribal Shaman                         9         1           1000g

Minion                                                      100g

- Shadow Thiefs are better at stealing resources than other spies.

Spells

One Time spells imply that the spell is used when you attack. I don't think it's meant for that. If it's like how I think it is, it should be WAR-ONLY, OFFENSIVE, INSTANT?

what do you mean by that? they have pretty balanced pricing, and the -5% land gains should throw off the bonuses.

Question on name. How can a simple offensive elite be on par with the God of Fire. Plus one of my favorite summons.

haha yeah, im not gonna lie. im pretty bad with names, and don't really even know what a gremlin is. i sorta just took my goblin race and inserted gremlin in where it was previously goblin. and he is definitely my favorite summon. do you have a suggestion for a better name?

How about "Enraged Looter" instead of Ifrit and "Rust Armored Warrior" instead of Armored Knight? Knights aren't exactly something that comes to mind when I think of Gremlins and both of those

how about they only consume food at night, but then twice as much... they only eat after midnight of course. and brightlight kills them, so I thought a power fluctuation between day and night like that of vamps would be good. If trying to keep on course with them actually being gremlins.

damn. didn't think gremlins would be so complicated. well i REALLY want to keep things insanely simple though, just slightly more complicated than humans. oh, and i took the liberty of using wiki to figure out what a gremlin actually was and other stuff to like goblins and imps and stuff.

doubtful...though Im sure if you try to use them as a title to a game, movie book ect then you are violating something in some way but as use as a race of monsters then I dont think there is an issue. I mean you can still use Dragons as a race and there is Dungeons and Dragons.
