I think it was Ceek who brought my attention to this in another thread, but allegedly when you use your 12 free hourchanges in protection, it does not speed up when you can get your land bonus. I thought a lot of this was to help with flexibility of OOP, as in, you could use your free HCs to get around blocks you may have had IRL. With it this way, it means, optimally, one cannot use those free HCs until after the 2nd land bonus has been taken, or they lose econ compared to most others. Id like to see it changed so that one can actually use the free HCs whenever they want. So please cause the free HCs to speed up when one can get his land bonus (the 2nd one).

YES!!.. I didn't like that at all. Is there a way that you can still keep the system on a 60 hour schedule and the 12 HC's will count down from that when used?

I had to use 4 free HC in the 1st 12 hrs last round & my LB came right on time @ 24 turns into oop (4 free and 20 hrs) so I did not lose any time in getting LB. The only reason for taking your free HC as late as poss is so you can maximize gold & pop gain from all imps invested & I believe it really does not effect oop as much as everyone believes. The free HC's are mainly for our build & train schedule to keep us from losing sleep or from real life obligations !!!

Well, thats how I was led to believe it was set up initially, but then it was said that it was actually not setup like that. So, if its setup as you say, there arent any problems, thats how id want it to work.

There's a big problem with this suggestion.

IF your free hc's would count towards the land bonus appearing times, everyone would be on different land bonus schedules post-oop, and for the whole round.

The current LB system is *probably* coded so that it appears at 24 hour intervals from the start of the round, as server crashes usually delay it, so the whole system would probably have to be changed to something else in order to make the suggestion work.

And yeah, easyjaws does remember wrong.

Anyway, if it doesn't mess up the post-oop LBs, I'll sign this too.

Im not sure how it would mess up times. I think all it would do initially is say make hour 24 of the game be at a different time for you than for me, but once we 'catch up' at tick 60, when we hit oop, everyone is back on the same time at that point. So, I dont think it would need to mess up land bonuses post oop. It could potentially be off for someone who didnt use all of their free HCs, but I guess my thought is once we hjit tick 60, everyone is back to same timing.

U guys R right, double checked my build and it came on 24hr so I lost 4 free HC, over all cannot say this was a bad thing because I still had pretty good oop build.

Its not that its bad, just suboptimal, and given what this game is about and the purpose of the change, forcing you to suboptimally use them makes little sense, I think.
