Last round I went strait to the elites and it worked very well. Should I start with specs?

Depends how big you're gonna be.The most efficient way to go would be getting specs for dp and leets for op,so you get some turtle when your lands come in(general rule for all races).You can opt to go all leets if you want to come out with a better economy after you've built all your lands.Going full specs is incredibly risky unless you really know what you're doing.

It would be quite foolish to go all elites as an Amazon. Make a little spec dp, rest of gold to spec OP. Then set your build up to make mass heroines and push to say 1600 swordswoman, 300-400 shield maidens, and mass heroines (500?)

So playing for land I want defence specs untill I reach something like 1000 land? And I shouldn't use offence specs, right? Thanks for the advice.

No no no sorry, let me be more clear. I was just meaning for OOP. What I did, was train say 400 shield maidens, and the rest of my gold to swordswoman. Then trained as many heroines as I could (~500). Then what you can do is, attack with all your op, and as many heroines as possible. Then at oop (tick 60), train max fanatics and max heroines yet again. Then, you can leave more heroines for DP, but still send some out for OP. After that, I started stashing gold and constantly training heroines for DP. You can easily make a 3rd and 4th wave doing this, and you can build your land the tick it gets in so you are up and running VERY fast.

I like heavy dspecs out the gates better (enough to send all Heroines, at least). Even though you'll be a *little* slower, and it'll require more activity, you end up with much much much better turtle. It's really variable, I think last time I played zon, I just calced the exact number of ospecs needed for x amount of hits in conjunction with my heroines and then dumped the rest into dspecs. But under no circumstances should you be training specs past OOP. Heroines are dirt cheap early game and you need to abuse them.
