I've heard that XP players frequently Sacrifice heroes, but would it not also make sense for land attackers to do so as well? In particular, it appears to me that an OP hero seems far more beneficial than economic heroes--esp. if the economic heroes grant bonuses like food or some non-necessary resources (e.g. iron for races that do not use it).

Or am I missing something here?

As a land player your going to lose most of your heroes anyway so no point in sacrificing them.

For a landplayer ANY hero is pretty good to have since you dont get them all that easily. Especially since you keep most/all your heroes in realm service all the time. If i'd be soloing i might have considered sacking a completely useless hero, but i dont think i actually would have done it.
