7 seems awfully high. I think there will only be 3 dwarves in top 10 by end game. Situation A One dwarf does early tavern push. He will runaway and win the game. Situation B Two dwarves push taverns early. The one who pushed 2nd will runaway and win. Situation C Three or more dwarves push taverns, game slows to a crawl. A slow fast race, or a fast slow race will win the round. Situation D One Goblin pushes taverns and conscripts. Goblin doesn't attack anyone and just sits there. Game stops for a few days. A bottomfeeding Minotaur/Barb will win.

Quite a bunch of OP'd races this round (I count 5), however it seems most of people were more keen on dorf than anything else.

I would guess ceek referred to "popular among players that are capable of making an educated choice of race with the aim of winning the round" or something like that. And out of the say 20 or so players that normally compete ftw i believe this round has a very high percentage of dorfs.

Funny fact by the way, while the supposedly OP'd dwarves are running free, the nw/land rankings are close to identical this round compared to the last 5 rounds, only the dominant races have changed.

Imo the strongest race for this round was gryph anyway. I was a bit surprised to see so few gryphs.
