I am royally pissed at this point. For the love of the Goddess, I can't get the *bleep*ing expansion to work. I'm at my wits end here. What the hell gives. I have downloaded both the mainprogram and the expansion. I have unzipped the *bleep*ed expansion multiple times and have tried to force that *bleep*ity *bleep* to go into the main program. The main program doesn't have a function that allows you to import data. I am at a total loss here and unless I can figure out what the *bleep* gives, I might be out of the tourneyment.

That's the links for magic workstation if you want to try that one instead. The latter site is to download the cards up to 9th edition, then use bled's link to get the ravnica set in. I rarely use apprentice so I can't help with it

ok - unzip it into the Apprentice directory and into the Apprentice/Sets directory. If your zip program doesnt rebuild subdirectories then that will be needed.

Hell with it. I can't even figure out how to get that *bleeping* expansion to show up for the other program either. Obviously this is a sign that apparently I just wasn't ment to play in this tourney. I'm so close to giving up it isn't funny. I know it shouldn't be this *bleeping* difficult, but for some reason it just isn't working for me.

well do what I do then.

I just keep a list of the cards in my deck in one text file
and a list of the cards in my hand in another.

I have a program which "shuffles" the deck file and prints it in random order
If I am drawing one, I put the first card into the hand file and remove it from the deck file.

Next turn I shuffle again. It works fairly well. I can give you my shuffle script if you want.

i used the link that bled provided and got it on the first shot.

I think I am going to end up doing that. I don't understand why I can't just drag and click the damn expansion over to the main program and get it to work or for that mater why there isn't a get expansion option for the main program.

I really would like to get one of these *bleep*ing programs to work. This is the error message I get when I use the Magic Workstation and I follow that guys instructions.

Either I get some help from you people or I am out. As far as I am concerned, my situation is unacceptable. I don't see why the hell I can't get EITHER program to work with the expansion and I don't see any reason to even continue to frustrate myself if this continues.

The magic workstation has Ravnica as an option for the filter, but when I use it no cards show up. If I can't get this solved by the time the 2nd round starts, I am out of the tourneyment.

Well, I really don't know what to suggest...

Having followed the instructionswith workstation I didn't have any problems with it, so have no idea sorry

As for Apprentice, just installing the thing correctly made it work

Well lucky for me, they have updated the Apprentice so that I no longer have to deal with any stupid patch that won't work. I just downloaded the entire program again. Now I can finally make my deck.
