ok i will start. we can set multiple characteristic for something to be classified as a drug and go from there.

1. it has to be addictive - as in: causing addiction - as in: compulsive need for or habbit forming (webster)

2. it does not have to be a chemical substance itself only, but it can be a process leading to ceation of such chemical

3. anything else? causes change of consciousness(webster)? but now define consciousness .. lol

too me it seems that lots of stuff could be classified as a drug right? sugar, chocolate, coffee, (doing) sports, (having) sex, (listening to) music, (reading) books, (being in) love .. so that brings us back to what B0B0 wanted to know.

well tuco... it depends on the drug. gotta say, there's stuff wrong with all the stuff you listed.

for one, music, it's utterly annoying when a person turns on his amplifiers and start playing on his damn electric guitar 3 am in the morning.

and for sex... i don't wanna hear the guy next door having anal sex 3 am in the morning. and yes... i can hear that when he does it.

and *... one of my suitemates took various anti-depressants. it impaired his judgement and he had problems with self-control.
