If you're really talking about this boardgame, then yes, several times. Not a huge fan... altho i won't say no if a game starts.

I think I played it once, used no tact whatsoever, and "died" really early

Oh shit, I thought I knew my underground board game community but I had NO idea the turned Dune into one. Gotta run, but will look at reviews later.

Good luck finding it. It's old (Last English release was 1984!) and out of print for years. If you like boardgames and have a good gang, one that don't mind cerebral, bluff and strategy boardgames, i'd advice paying the 100+ bucks on ebay for it (tip : if you get the french edition from descartes/asmodee which is more recent (1991), you'll automatically have the 2 expansions and you'll only need to print the rules and the translation for the cards.) It's an incredible game, one that doesnt mercy on mistakes. You will like it... from your yomi posts, i can guarantee it.
