Since this seems the appropriate thread for it, I'd like to make a request which I also made in my race-thread.

Dragons (doesn't have to be my Dragon-version, though I do plan to support it)
- should include units with dragonworthy stats.
- should be without big economy penalties despite their "space-efficient" units (I suggest by tieing an upkeep to the units to mask the space-efficiency).
- preferable should involve something with diamonds/gold (to empathize their hoarding-instinct)
- preferable should be Evil (Evil can use a race with a name that pulls players)
- should have enough flexibility so that also newbies don't have too much problems with them (because a lot of newbies would play them)

A dragon race would be cool.

The coding is not hard, try using notepad or excel. It can take some time, of course, but practice makes perfect. :-)

Here is an example, just add [ ] around code and you will see marvellous things happen after you worked on the spaces/tabs :-)

code
Name Attack Defense Return Train Casulities Mage Spy Price
Mini 4.0 12.0 12.0 50 400g, 35m
Fae 4.5 12.0 50 500g, 35m
Pixie Knight 8.0 3.0 12.0 12.0 50 1360g, 35m
Pixie Guardian 7.0 12.0 50 1140g, 35m
Victorian 16.0 4.0 12.0 10.0 50 100m, 95dm
Duende 9.0 0.5 400g
Pyske WORKER 0.15 80g, 20m[/code]

AT the risk of going into thread necromancy with this discussion, would anyone be interested in an Illithid race? For some reason, The only thing of which I'm certain is that they should be able to convert slaves into food or magic dust via a spell.

Ilith were last in the game: The Age of Achievements :: Round 8

Ilith
Quote:
Name Att	Def	Ret	Trn	Cas	Mages	Spies	Price
MindTrull 3.0 12.0 9.0 130 300g, 10r
WillBender 3.0 9.0 100 360g, 10m
ThoughtEater 8.0 12.0 12.0 130 1,150g, 100m
NeuronBlaster 6.0 7.0 12.0 12.0 100 1,325g, 50m
NeuroImager 9.0 1.0 1,000g
NeuroAgent 9.0 1.0 1,000g
Moroni 100g
  • ThoughtEaters destroys enemy kingdom improvements and add them to the attacking Ilith's kingdom. 30 improvement points per attacking ThoughtEater is reallocated. Max 5% of the improvement points can be taken on one single attack. Thoughteaters only destroys enemy improvements when successfully attacking between 67% and 150% of your own land size.

Ilith Spells
Amnesia Ilith, WAR ONLY, OFFENSIVE, INSTANT
Victim kingdom forgets up to 2% of the kingdom improvements, the Ilith gain the same amount of improvement points as the victim loses.
    Thought Mind Ilith, SELF, ONE-TIME
Converts dead Thought Eaters to improvement points.

Ilith Buildings Differences
    Name	Land	Function
Gold Mine Iliths are too weak to work in Gold Mines.
    Tavern Iliths cannot build Taverns.
MindAcademy Improves the effect of kingdom improvements by 3.0 * MindAcademy%.
(Alchemy) MindAcademies have the same effect on realm improvements as standard Alchemies.
MindUniversity Increase kingdom improvements with 4 * MindUniversity%.
    (Laboratory)

Feel free to make your own version/update this version. Its very unlikely that this version of Illith will return.

Neat. I'll fiddle with it some. The research theme is interesting, but I had something a bit more sinister in mind.
