I cannot stand this forum, I mean, I see something posted directly to what I have written, then I log in and cannot find it, truly, I don't have enough time to look all over the place...until I get a better grip on how to maneuver through this forum, this willl have to do:

Responding, for the last time to everyones[ or rather, SOME PEOPLES] opinion about my realm not being proper and we shold have to enter the draft..

Come on...we are a bunch of new players that don't even know anything...and for my part, I am sick of asking question all over the place and no one even has the decency to give me a straight answer...I'll just stick to asking different realms in the game.

I totally disagree with Luf, I think he is the one that responded, "you woke me up", that he couldn't believe the administrators were allowing us to form our own draft becuase we should do it legally since it would make it more interesting; Really?

Isn't it of interest like this? IT IS IN THE OPEN, there is nothing clandestine. We are not secretly rocket scientists from NASA trying to whoop on you.

Wether you answer, rebuttal, theorize, or retort cleverly,it is of no interest to me; I doubt that I'll be viewing these pages in the near future, so I wont even see it.

I know, sounds like a defeated whipped on little brat attitude; but yes, I would like an apology...


I have been in situatioins like this before:it doesn't get better unless someone is called on the carpet...and I think I have been dragged, literally dragged, demoralized, traumatized, and ridiculed.

I realize you don't know me; but you're not making any effort of Netiquette either; it's like you don't like me or something. And don't you dare say I am paranoid.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about over some guys wanting to re-work their feeble strategies in the 'Draft Round'..sorry,if we took the 'Path Less Traveled'.

If we make an exception for you, there will be more people coming here asking for an exception. And that is not how it works.

BTW, the forums are not so hard to use. Instead of spending time on such long posts asking for things you can't get, you should spend more time on learning how the forums work.

Unless it's a team picked as per the standard Draft process then it should not have the same properties of the draft team but instead, just a normal pack.

This forum is, in itself, no conundrum; the techniques for manouvering it is quite similar to the techniques for manouvering most internet forums. I do understand that your are new, and like anything when it's new, things can be complicated; hard to follow. But then again it is the accepted norm that the 'immigrant' must familiarize himself with the 'netiquette' of the indiginous recidents. I'm talking about us; of course. Netiquette is such a hard term to define anyways. The concept and it's application remain in a state of flux still, and is much up to each community to define;
That is not to say we - and I dare speak for LUF here, even though I do not know him personally - no one here wishes to demoralize or traumatize you.

We - as a 'Legends of Elveron' community - try our best to accomodate new 'faces' of this forum, and it is precisely this that the 'draft' is all about; to integrate newer players into our humble community. We certainly mean not to alienate you or appear hostile at all; no one will force you or your realmies to participate in the 'draft'; it is not mandatory, not at all.

But it boils down to, and I do not intend to come of as disrespectful - I have no authoroty here, the unwritten concept of respecting the 'local customs'; the rules for packs here state that you may bring no more than five (5) friends together and these rules are not, in most peoples opinion, to be broken for anyone, the draft round being a special case; it's sole purpose to make 'vets' and 'newbs' mingle, so to speak. This is the reason it has been suggested - not demanded - that you participate in the draft; but in the end it is your call. You are free after all, and there are many - including me - who does not intend to take part in this 'draft' process.

Last but not least, I hope my retort is not too clever for you; it is not my intention. I merely wish to explain, in simple terms, how things work around here.
There has been no 'faux pas' of the forum, as far as I am concerned, so I hope you will not be offended in the future if people are somewhat blunt or direct; it is just the way we are.
