Derailed thread

It's sad to see Dominion go, even though I kind of understand Ross. It's sad because I put lots of hours into that game more than 10 years ago. Sad because it was Dominion a friend of mine back then got me hooked to. Sad because it was my Dominion obsession that made me found this game, forcing me to become a better programmer that eventually lead to a very nice job.

Even though I'm not running Elveron anymore I think I'll have a very hard time just shutting it down totally like Ross did. I wish he at the very least had kept the static content - valhalla and guide up, on a R.I.P. dominion site.

I believe Valhalla was saved on a site by some players. Shall try find the site

Now that I am more experienced I see how the thread was derailed; maybe in another time, I'll go there and see how it was, that, for some reason, at that time, it appeared to me this was the place to speak; of course, perhaps, this would only be of interest to me.

Having said all of the above, yes, very much Jcinnz, post the Valhalla website; from what I have read, here I go again, cannot even remember now if it was connected to this 'thread', many folks benefited from Dominion in professional ways(must have been this thread).

lifetime rankings don't seem to work, now noone will see I was the most pathetic of them all

Iirc the lifetime ranks are backed up somewhere too though but dunno where.
