yeah.. agreed. Messi isn't of this world though to be fair. His spaceship just landed in Argentina is always what i've believed. United we're a load of rubbish though. My housemate went to the game & almost left early it was that boring..

Aha, I don't root for Juve, but for Milan (AC), but I was glad that Juve (another italian side) started well. Milan was a bit disappointing, but we will come back

What's with Italian teams? Before, they were champions/contenders in Europe, the next seasons they crash out unspectacularly. (It kinda happened in the past x years with Inter, AC Milan and Juve.) I find it kinda sad that they aren't so consistent over the past few years.

Juve had some troubles in recent years with being forcibly relegated and stuff. They look strong now tho and imo have recovered better than many teams would if they were forcibly relegated a division.
Milan got raped in the transfer market and simply has a weak team now

Mostly Italian teams aren't the financial powerhouses they once were and can't compete with teams like City and PSG (who can lol?). I don't feel too sorry for them though, AC Milan especially were in the past doing much what PSG is now (granted in a smaller scale) so what comes around goes around
