Realm Options
The realms in Legends of Elveron consist of one to six players working together as a team in order to defeat the opposing kingdoms and realms. Many players will begin the round with a group of predetermined players in teams, referred to as "packs." However, there are also a large number of individual players that start the round on their own, and these players are referred to as "randoms" or "randomers." Occasionally, pack members OR randomers will find they are unhappy with their team mates or their current realms and want to move elsewhere, and the list of options on this page will help those unhappy players to find new and better arrangements. The options on this page can also help the players and realms looking to build and create their own packs. (Please take careful note of the restrictions and eligibility requirements of each option to ensure that you qualify.)

The List of Currently Available Players
The list of Currently Available Players is a register of all the players currently seeking placement in a new realm. If you are a randomer looking to find a new realm, joining this list will alert the Monarchs in other realms that you are available, and possibly willing, to merge with them. Only the Monarchs of the realms are able to access this list, and they will be able to invite you directly from that list. You will need to check periodically for these invitations, which you can do from the Realm Options page by clicking on "Check for invitations." You can also remove yourself from this list on this same page at any time. If you are a Monarch looking to find new additions to merge with your realm, you can access this list from the Government page ingame under the "Invite Players to the Realm" option (see the "Build You Own Pack Section" below for more details). Once the invitation has been made and accepted, the new kingdom will immediately be merged into the realm. This action is final and cannot be undone, so be sure to choose and accept wisely.

Eligibility Requirements for Merging:
  • The merging kingdom must not be over 1,000 acres (and this includes incoming acres). NOTE: The acre limit works on a floating value, which means that as long as you are below 1,000 acres at the time of the merger you are still eligible (even if you had at one time previously been over 1,000 acres).
  • The merging kingdom must have fewer than 4,000 Experience points in total.
  • The merging kingdom may not have troops currently out on attack.
  • Neither the merging kingdom nor the realm accepting a merger may be involved in a war at the time the merger takes place. In addition to this, you cannot declare a war for 24 hrs after the merger is completed.
Finding a Realm
By selecting this option, you will be given a list of all the realms currently seeking additional players for their realm. If you are a randomer, you should use this option to contact the Monarchs in the realms listed. If you are a Monarch, you should use this option to advertise openings in your pack, and you can put your realm on this list by enabling the "recruiting flag" from your Government page. NOTE: The same eligibility requirements apply to this option as those listed above.
Building Your Own Pack
You may decide that you are unhappy in your current realm and would rather branch out on your own to build a pack from the ground up. By selecting this option, you will be creating a new and empty realm for yourself - and please be advised that this placement is done randomly and you may be placed in a realm with a different faith than your current one, which means that you will lose all faith-specific heroes.

Once you are in the new realm, you will be instantaneously given the title of Monarch. Your first decision, as Monarch, will be whether to allow players to be randomly assigned to your realm via the ingame system OR if you prefer to hand-select your members OR if you would rather simply stay on your own.

To build a hand-selected pack you may either invite friends from real life or other games OR you may find other active players ingame and merge together into one pack. In order to find other ingame players to merge with, you can either search through the realms one-by-one and distribute your Realm Password to those you will to join you OR you can invite kingdoms directly by using the Currently Available Players List OR you can advertise openings in the realm by enabling the "recruiting flag" (which can be done on the Government page). NOTE: Please be aware that until the merger is complete and you are in the same realm, you may NOT share any information relating to ingame targets or activity. This means that until you are in the same realm, all aspects of The Law (particularly regarding target-sharing) still applies, and you will still be subject to deletion and/or suspension if you are discovered to be in violation of these Laws.

Restriction: You will need a MINIMUM of three players to activate realm improvements and war options. This means that if you have fewer than three (3) players, you will not be able to invest in realm improvements OR to declare wars. However, this does not mean that other realms will not be able to declare war on you.

Restriction: You should only need to select this option once, but should you find the need to use this option more than once, please be aware that you may only select this option once every 72 hours.

Eligibility Requirements for Merging:
  • The realm merging the kingdom must not have more than 5 players.
  • The merging kingdom must be from the same alignment (This means that good can only merge with good and evil with evil).
Defecting to a New Realm
If all else fails, you still have an option to "defect" to another realm. By defecting, you will be abandoning your current realm to be placed into a new realm. The placement will be randomly generated by the ingame system, so it is possible that you will end up in a realm no better than your current one. You should also be advised that you may be placed in a realm with a different faith than your current one, which means that you will lose all faith-specific heroes.

Restriction: You may only select this option once every 72 hours.
