Lord Sky Dunlin grew up in the highlands of Elveron where he was known for his ability to outlast opponents by having a thick, impenetrable epidermis. All Dunlins have this ability but L.S.D. made a pact with an Enchantress to quadruple his epidermis strength. This gave the Gryphons the decided edge over the great battle against their ferocious rival, the evil Ilith's. With L.S.D's new attained magical epidermis he was able to defeat the Ilith army almost by himself. Bird Nation proclaimed him savior of the Gryphon race and general of the Gryphon armies.
