visited the bazaar. He usually stays in the service of a ruler for 3
days and 14 hours.

Once an infamous general in the undead legions, this Vampire aristocrat earned his title, the "Night Stalker," through his vicious night attacks. It was in part due to Lord Flare's unearthly combat abilities that the Vampires even decided to make a break away from the Undead legions. Being forever young (and nearly immortal!), Lord Flare served his mysterious Overlord, one known throughout the lands only as "The Baron," over the centuries. The Vampires' wealth and power grew to an unprecedented amount. As the Baron's legend grew, so the Lord Flare became a legend in his own right. In addition to his legendary military prowess, Lord Flare was known as one who took pleasure in indulging in his carnal desires - he was notorious for getting drunk after pillaging and raping villages. His love of alcohol is what lead to the downfall.
The arrogant Vampire general decided to participate in a tournament of champions; one that would not only push his martial skills to the limits, but one that would etch his name in eternity if he won. After winning his first battle easily, Lord Flare celebrated by drinking and bathing in blood late into the night. The next day was ugly. Still befuddle by the alcohol, and fighting at a disadvantage during the day, Lord Flare was felled by the beautiful Elven hero Asuza Shiratori. Although her arrows were not hitting their mark, Shiratori's Elven made sai made short work of Flare. Thought to be mortally wounded, and after crumbling into dust, the land of Elveron breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that the terrible Vampire finally passed into history.
It has been 100 years since that tournament, and it has been a relatively peaceful century. However, recently the Vampire's have been more active. Hamlets, villages, and even towns have been razed to the ground overnight. Rumor has it these days the Baron had branded Lord Flare with a rune of protection, and now, after one hundred years, Flare has awakened again. Word on the street is, the terrible Night Stalker walks this earth once more! Children! Be sure to be on your best behavior!
Lord Flare was rumored to be last seen rampaging through the countryside in the company of Angelfire, the Illusionist.
