Gooby the Swift had 1237 experience last time he
visited the bazaar. He usually stays in the service of a ruler for 7
days.
Gooby the Swift is currently not in the service of anyone.
Known as the "Fat bastard", Gooby grew up in a small simple trollish village. Surrounded by pigs and apple trees, gooby lived his life peacefully playing with pigs by shoving apples in their mouths, before roasting them to eat.
One day, a wandering theif appeared in the village, attempting to steal one of the roasted pigs. Although fat and lazy, Gooby managed enough effort to push himself a few inches, letting gravity continue to roll him down the hill, towards this theif. The theif panicked and quickly pulled out a teleport scroll to cast, however it fumbled when Gooby crashed into his legs, causing the spell to strike out at Gooby instead.
The spell freed Gooby's body from the material world, allowing him to travel in the spiritual world, where time and space is meaningless. By interweaving between the two worlds, Gooby is able to create the effect of teleporting around randomly for varying distances.
Using this new found ability, Gooby began to venture across Elveron, in search for adventure and roast pigs, and has become what we now know as Gooby the Swift.
Gooby the Swift was awarded to goobs after successfully playing the kingdom
Greece - 2004 [#72]
to the top in Round 7 in The Age of Discovery.
