Martin was born from a marriage between a flameweaver father and a human mother. He grew up in the grand city of Firios the capital of the flameweaver nation. But he never grew to love the chaotic living there. In the beginning he reasoned it must have been his human blood although his mother seemed to have had no problems adapting to the flameweaver ways.
At the very young age of 15 Martin left Firios in a quest to calm his soul. He travelled far and wide, in the end settling in the Gnome nation. They were the total opposite of the flameweaver nation. Instead of total chaos the Gnome nation was run through a series of strict and unbending laws. Martin revelled. This was what his soul had always wanted, peace but foremost order. Martin applied for law school and rose very fast. At the age of 27 he was the supreme magistrate and the centre of power of the Gnome nation.
